So-long 2010

Wow ! Is it really already 2011 ? Where does all the time go ??? It seems like just yesterday I was celebrating 2010 ... and here , we're celebrating 2011 !

Some of the highlights of this past year has been ...

I broke my wrist in March .

I started a blog in May ! ( Hooray !)

I went to Chicago in June .( And went to teen camp in June.)

My dad and Mom turned 50 .

I found out that I love photography .( And I'm not too bad !lol )

And ... A million other things !


God has truly blessed us all in 2010 . He has showed us His mercy , and Love .( Over , and over again !)

So now is the time to say GOODBYE 2010 , HELLO 2011 !!!!!!!! Yay !

God's blessing to you in 2011 !

The Christmas Chronicle

My Christmas day ( and Christmas Eve ) Was Fantastic !

Christmas Eve :

On Christmas Eve , my family , my uncle's family , my aunt's family , and my grandma, ( including a few others )Went to my Uncle's House .

When we got there , we ate and talked , then had our annual ping-pong tournament . After the tournament , we had a Barbie fashion show ! lol ! What,silly  ? It's not every day we get to see our cousins ! lol !

Then we sang carols , watched Bing Crosby's White Christmas , and had our White Elephant gift exchange ! ( I ended up with two knit scarves. )

Then our Grandma , and Aunts , and Uncles , opened their gifts .

It was then time to go .

We came home at 1:30 in the morning ! Yeah , I was exhausted !

Christmas Day :

My brother had to work that morning , so we all slept in , then waited till my bro. came home . Then we ate a brunch , read the Christmas story , and talked .

After that , we opened gifts . It took us 3-4 hours ! ( We like to look and comment on every single thing !)

When we were done , my sister and her husband had to go to his house . So then we just looked at all our gifts ( Again ) , watched tv , slept , and stayed in our pj's all day !

It was wonderful ! How was your Christmas ?

Excited ?

I have to admit , I AM super excited for Christmas !

Christmas Confession ll

Just a few days ago , I said I wasn't ready for Christmas .

 And I still am not really ready . But , I have gotten into the Christmas spirit !

Today I was wrapping presents ( I love wrapping presents ! ) , went Christmas shopping with my siblings , ( again , lol ! ) I've been singing carols , been loving the snow , and can't wait to see the Family !

But even though I'm in the spirit , I'm still not ready . But... I guess we should  just except that it is here . There's no stopping or reversing time , So ... Merry Christmas !!!!!

I Hope you have a wonderful Christmas Eve ! And Christmas day ... Filled with Joy , Peace , Comfort , Love , Family , And  most of all ... CHRIST !

So If I don't write a post before Christmas ... MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all ! I am so blessed to have all of you always uplifting me with your sweet comments , and reading my  sometimes *dull* posts . Your all so special to me , Love you all !

Christmas Confession

Christmas is just 5 days away ! I can't believe it !

We have our tree and decorations up . The lights are strung . I have my gifts bought for everyone , but honestly , I'm not ready for Christmas . I'm still back in November !  I remember when I was a little girl , I could hardly wait for Christmas ! And here ... it seems I just get over with Thanksgiving , and Christmas , is already here .

I simply am not ready for it !

People keep on asking the question " Ready for Christmas ?!!! " 

And I say " Yup ! " , But really deep inside , I'm not ready . If I could just reverse time for just a bit , then maybe I'd be ready !

I'm not , so to say , in the "Christmas Spirit " . I'm not ready to open gifts , sing the carols , watch the Christmas movies , read the Christmas story ... I'm still thinking that Christmas is far off . But it isn't !

Yeah , I'm excited for it , and I want to see my family . But ... I 'm just not ready .

Voyage of the Dawn Treader

                                                                 I love it, love it, love it!

 

The famous C.S Lewis book , Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Has been made into a movie !

                          And I got to see it opening night with a couple of friends ! It was amazing !!!!

Lucy was valiant . ( I definitely liked her the best in this movie out of all the others !) Edmund Reminded me of Peter from Prince Caspian .
Eustace was hilarious ! Whenever he spoke , I would burst out laughing !
Caspian , was just as I imagined him .
Reepicheep ... Whenever I saw him , I just wanted to take him into my arms . He is adorable !!!!
And Aslan ... He reminds me of God ! ( Well , he does represent Christ !)


This movie is the BEST  ! It is defiantly my favorite out of all the Narnian movies so far ! ( And all my friends would agree ! )

So you must , must , must , watch it !!!!

( I have to admit , I cried through some parts of it ! )

Simple yet Fancy

I finally got the hair tutorial that ya'll wanted !

This hairdo is called , Simple  yet Fancy . Why ? Because it simple to do and is quite pretty . But  anyways , on to the tutorial .

 Step one : Take some of your hair , and put it to one side . Like shown .

 Step Two : Take the hair and twist it , like so .

 Step Three : Put in your barrett . Like above and below .

 Step Four : Put your hair into a bun !


                                     
                  
And wala!  This hairdo takes only about a minute , but looks simply lovely !
